Formula E: Custom Award Crates in Five Days

A high-profile, high-pressure brief

We were asked to produce 50 custom-made award crates for a Formula E project - and to get them delivered to China within five days. That left us just about one day (and one very long night!) to actually produce them once artwork and materials were signed off.

The full workshop, working together

This project used almost all of our machinery: UV printing, CO2 and fibre lasers, CNC machining and our digital cutting table all played a part. Being able to run these processes in-house, side by side, is what made the timeline possible.

Delivered against the clock

The crates were produced to a high standard and shipped in time to reach China within the five-day window. It's one of our proudest turnaround stories - and a good demonstration of what a well-equipped workshop and a determined team can achieve.
