CNC Machining
CNC routing gives precise, repeatable cuts in rigid materials like wood, acrylic, composites and aluminium. Our router takes full 8 × 4ft sheets, from a single prototype to a full production run.

Why choose CNC machining?
A CNC router cuts complex shapes, pockets and slots with smooth edges that need little or no finishing. Every part matches the drawing, whether it is one prototype or a full run, and nesting parts on the sheet keeps waste down. It suits signage and panels, architectural pieces and custom components alike.
Choose it when
- You need precise, repeatable cuts in rigid sheet
- The design has pockets, slots or complex shapes
- You want folded ACM trays or 3D lettering
- The parts are too large for our other machines

- Hold-down
- Vacuum bed
With a spindle speed of up to 18,000rpm, the Spartan makes light work of cutting and pocketing - from trophy bases to full sheets. Its depth and standard sheet-sized bed let us machine intricate models and vector work across three axes, with excellent surface finishes and accurate tolerances.

What it does well
Full 8 × 4ft sheets
A 1220 × 2440mm bed means cutting down, routing or shaping whole sheets is a simple job.
V-grooves and folding
V-shaped bits route grooves in ACM so it folds cleanly - ideal for lightboxes, 3D products and built-up letters.
Finished edges
Parts come off the machine with smooth edges, and edging bits add bevels and chamfers to pockets and edges.
Vacuum bed
A powerful vacuum holds the sheet flat while cutting, keeping it accurate without mechanical clamps.
VCarve Pro software
We import your artwork directly, then nest and step-and-repeat parts to get the most from every sheet.
Large-format engraving
The router doubles as a large rotary engraver, so big pieces can be engraved and cut on one machine.
Good to know
- We use CNC routing for detailed letter cut-outs and back panels for illuminated signs, with sharp detail across every repeat.
- Multi-depth passes let us produce flat cut-outs as well as 3D reliefs and pockets for signs, panels and decorative pieces.
- Switching between straight, ball-nose and V-bits gives different finishes and edge profiles on the same piece.
